Turkey, Vietnam hold political consultation

(VOV) -Deputy Undersecretary of the Turkey Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ömer Önhon has conducted the third regular political consultation with representatives from the Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This is part of his current visit to Vietnam from March 18-20 following an agreement previously reached by both parties.

The two sides expressed their satisfaction at the fine development in Vietnam-Turkey multifaceted cooperation in recent years, especially in the field of trade.

Each side briefed the other on their current situation and exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern.

They also discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, labour, agriculture, and education and training, and agreed to promote exchange visits and accelerate negotiations for the early signing of agreements on double tax avoidance, aviation service, and maritime transport.

Hosts and guests concluded talks by pledging mutual support at international forums.
