Vietnamese student football tournament opens in Moscow

The event attracted 15 football teams from 40 universities that have Vietnamese alumni.

The Bauman Moscow State Technical University won the trophy, the Moscow State Automobile and Road Technical University placed second and the Vietnamese Association of Fellow-Countryman Grup came in third.

The tournament was held to commemorate Vietnam’s important days such as the Southern Liberation Day (April 30), May Day, the 121^st birthday of late President Ho Chi Minh (May 19) and 100 years since President Ho left the country to seek for ways to save the nation.
