India will provide Vietnam with a hi-tech system of machines for treating cancer to help the country conduct a comprehensive cancer control campaign, according to United News of India.

The system of Bhabhatron2 machines will be installed in Can Tho provincial hospital in southern Vietnam. India will carry out installation and maintenance of the equipment and provide technical guidance.

This is part of an agreement reached on the sidelines of the 51st meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
