Vinh Chau district in the southern province of Soc Trang will receive nearly VND2 billion in aid from the State budget to promote production for the ethnic minority Khmer community in 2008.

The funding will provide free fry for 450 target families to boost fish farming and also be used to restore the traditional production of rush mats.
