Dai Nam zoo welcomes newborn zebra
Dai Nam zoological park in the southern province of Binh Duong has welcomed a 10-kilogramme female African zebra on February 5, marking a good start for the Year of the Horse.
Zoo manager Duong Thanh Phi said the zoo had initially imported two pairs of zebra from Africa and they have to date given birth to three foals.

Phi said the African zebras and other wild animals like giraffe, hippo, and antelope adapt well to living conditions in Binh Duong where the sun is shining all year round and grass is abundant.
A baby South African giraffe was also born at the park on January 2.
