The Lao leader’s three-day visit is being made at the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong and President of Vietnam Tran Dai Quang, aiming to affirm Laos’ policy of treasuring the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
This is the second official friendly visit of the Lao leader during his tenure (2016-2021).
