PM to attend 26th ASEAN Summit in Malaysia
(VOV) -Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung is to attend the 26 th ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi, Malaysia from April 26-27 at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Tun Abdul Razak.
The 25 th ASEAN Summit transpired in capital Nay Pyi Taw of Myanmar on November 11-13, 2014 with the adoption of a Declaration on the ASEAN Community’s Post-2015 Vision, a Declaration on Strengthening the ASEAN Secretariat and Reviewing the ASEAN Organs, and a Joint Statement on Climate Change.
Founded in August 1967, the regional grouping covers 10 member countries- Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
