Twelve injured in NinhThuan bus crash

VOV.VN - Twelve people have been seriously injured after a passenger bus travelling along the National Highway in Phuoc Nam commune of Thuan Nam district in NinhThuan province collided with a truck which suddenly changed direction, according to local police.

According to preliminary information, preceding the traffic accident, the truck and passenger bus were traveling in the same direction but the truck suddenly changed direction, driving across the median strip to a roadside restaurant. As the passenger bus was moving at high speed, the driver was unable to avoid crashing into the tail of the truck.

The accident caused serious injuries to the bus driver and 11 passengers. One passenger, woman named Ho Thi Dao Anh from Quang Nam province, was left in critical condition and was immediately transferred to the provincial hospital.

The two vehicles were irreparably damaged in the crash. The police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
