Vietnam, RoK boost legislative ties
(VOV) -Vietnam’s external policy focuses on promoting the strategic partnership with the Republic of Korea (RoK).
National Assembly (NA) Chairman Uong Chu Luu told Ahn Hoong Joon, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs, Trade and Unification Committee of the RoK’s National Assembly at a January 13 reception in Hanoi.
He highlighted that in recent years, bilateral legislative ties have developed constantly through reciprocal exchange visits and the mutual sharing of experience.

Luu said he hopes that Ahn Hoong Joon and other Korean lawmakers continue fostering the cooperative relations between the two legislative bodies.
In response, Ahn Hoong Joon said his ongoing visit aims to review and evaluate projects funded by the RoK’s official development assistance (ODA) in Vietnam.
He pledged to grant further assistance to Vietnam in the fields of information technology application in hospitals and human resource training in the healthcare sector.
He also expressed his desire to cooperate and share social welfare policy implementation experience with Vietnam.
