Voters praise NA session's results
VOV.VN - Vietnamese voters say the results of the just-concluded second session of the 14th National Assembly will help to consolidate the public’s trust in the legislative body.
Voter Do Ngoc Thanh in Ho Chi Minh City said,“This session proved to be very effective. It approved major decisions concerning people’s lives and national development, such as halting the nuclear project in Ninh Thuan, piloting the issuance of e-visas for foreigners, and the Law on Belief and Religion. I especially appreciated the Q&A session between National Assembly deputies and cabinet members, who answered responsibly, were accountable for shortcomings and put forth persuasive measures.”
Voter Phan Ho Giang in Gia Lai province said, “The National Assembly session was held in a democratic, responsible, and straightforward manner. Deputies put questions directly to cabinet members. I hope that the National Assembly will continue to supervise the government’s performance and how their promises are realized. Everything should be done to help build a facilitating, acting, and incorruptible government as the Prime Minister said.
Voter Nguyen Minh Khoa in Danang City said the session managed to settle many livelihood problems. He was impressed by the way National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan led the session.
“The Chairwoman proved herself to be strong and wise. She was able to create a democratic atmosphere in the National Assembly meeting. This marks a step forward in Vietnam’s democratization process," he added.
