Vietnamese amateur Thai boxing fighters win gold

VOV.VN - Two Vietnamese Thai boxing fighters each have won a gold medal at the recently concluded IFMA International Federation of Muaythai Amateur 2017 that took place in Minsk, Belarus.

The HanoiMoi Online Newspaper reports that Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat claimed the top honours in the men’s 60kg following his victory over A. Murat from Turkey while Le Hoang Duc won gold in men’s 48kg.

Medals in the male division went to 20 countries spread across Europe, Asia and the Americas out of a total of hundreds of fighters from 76 countries. The bouts were all closely contested with lots of action throughout the 11-day competition.
