Cambodia will build a bridge linking Kandal province’s Chrey Thom District to Vietnam to boost cross-border trade.
The US$20 million bridge is expected to become an international checkpoint to improve the two-way trade, the Phnom Penh Post quoted Em Sovannara, a department head at the Council of Ministers’ International Relations Department, as saying.
There are currently around 40 border crossings between Cambodia and Vietnam.
