Novel ways to travel in 2015

(VOV) -Travelling around the globe has always been one of the most exciting things that most people say they want to do. This year, not only are there many interesting places to go, but some novel ways to get there.

Heli-Skiing
Heli skiing is off-trail downhill skiing and snowboarding accessed by a helicopter.  If this is your thing, then head to British Columbia, home to CMH Heli-Skiing.  The sport's gorilla has 11 lodges that are sprinkled across some surreal mountain ranges to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the sports birth.

CMH bugaboo Lodge prepared the bar and living area for the winter. If you can't use the whole week, it's not a problem. CMH and others are now offering shorter stay options.

Rail

Another option is an extended four-day transcontinental journey by rail starting in Darwin and ending in Adelaide. This 76 hour trip through the Australian Outback also includes stopping at Katherine and Alice Springs.  

A new excursion has been added this year to Coober Pedy's remote and cavernous opal mine, which is celebrating its centennial this year.

Fifty years after the introduction of the world's first Japanese bullet train, the new high speed shinkansen rail lines, now are spreading throughout the globe. It's a new and safe way to travel.

In 2015, these services are scheduled to connect many places such as Rome and Milan, Paris and Barcelona, Istanbul and Ankara, Beijing and Hong Kong, Seoul and Bussan, Mecca and Medina, here are many services to choose.

To link Edinburgh to the Scottish Borders this summer, Scotland has completed a 300 million pound project to restore the train line. It has made it much easier to get there. This was once one of the few ways to go from Scottish Borders to the rest of country, but this year is the first time in about five decades that trains will run on this track.

Cruise
Nowadays, more and more people are travelling to Myanmar. To attract foreign tourists, the cruise routes on the Irrawaddy River have opened. Their purpose is to link the country's largest city, Yangon, to its biggest tourist draws including historic Bagan region.

In November, Sanctuary Retreats just launched a 20-suite Sanctuary Ananda.

This October, 36 windows-walled suites will be introduced by Avalon Waterways.

Seaplane
Ha Long bay-the most exciting place in Vietnam is almost 2000 limestone islands jutting out of the sea off the coast. To have the best and expansive aerial view, it's now possible to take a seaplane flight. 


After landing on the water, visitors can board wooden board for an overnight cruise.
