Vietnamese team wins Challenge Cup

Vietnam’s PVF team won the U15 International Football Challenge Cup after beating Johor Darul Ta’zim FC of Malaysia 7-1 in the final on November 27 in Singapore.

PVF won four and drew one matches on their way to the title.

The cup, which ran from November 21-27, saw five foreign teams taking on three sides from Singapore.

Hailing from Australia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines and Vietnam, the overseas teams were selected to further the development of young footballers by exposing them to varying styles of football played by high-quality opposition.
