VOV.VN - A brief shower of rain fell at 2pm on July 6, cooling down the city which has been sweltering through a heat wave with temperatures reaching 40 degrees Celsius over the past week.

Showers dampened the heat of streets in the capital city at 2pm on July 6.
Hanoians have been thirsting for the coolness of rain this week as temperatures in Hanoi ranged between 35 and 40 degrees Celsius all day and night.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting predicts that further rain is expected to occur on the afternoon of July 6.
 
The shower lasted just 30 minutes but residents were happy with the refreshing rain.
