Doosan Vina hi-tech products shipped to Peru

The Doosan Heavy Industries Vietnam (Doosan Vina)’s Chemical Processing Equipment (CPE) factory has shipped 1,232 tonnes of hi-tech chemical processing equipment to Peru, Deputy General Director Kim Yong Soo said on May 19.

The products included five oil pressure tanks and eight heat exchangers, of which the biggest tank has a diameter of 7m, and is 31m long and 36 mm thick.

The equipment is being shipped to the Modernizacion Pefineria De Talara oil refinery of the Petroperu Company under a pact sealed in 2014. The equipment is expected to reach Peru in 45 days.

According to the deputy general director, the CPE factory has completed 150 shipments of top quality chemical processing equipment to numerous oil refineries and customers worldwide.

Peru is the 28th country that the company’s products have made their way to in the international market.

Doosan Vina is fully invested by the Republic of Korea and its CPE plant is located in the Dung Quat Economic Zone in the central province of Quang Ngai.
