Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh nominated for Vice State President post

VOV.VN - On April 7, President Tran Dai Quang summited a proposal on electing the positions of Vice State President, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court and the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy.

Madame Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Office was nominated for the post of Vice State President to replace Nguyen Thi Doan.

Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh was born in 1959 in central Quang Nam province. She was an official member of the Party Central Member in the 11th and 12 tenures and NA deputy in the 11th and 13th tenures.

Thinh has assumed different positions: Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Women Union, Deputy Secretary of the Vinh Long provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Vinh Long provincial Party Committee and Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Office.

Mr Nguyen Hoa Binh, member of the Party Central Committee in the 12th tenure, NA deputy in the 13th was recommended for the post of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court to replace Truong Hoa Binh.

Mr Le Minh Tri, Deputy Head of the Party Central Internal Affairs Committee was the candidate for the position of  Prosecutor General of the Supreme People’s Procuracy. 

After group discussions, On April 8 lawmakers will vote to approve the nomination list and conduct a secret ballot on electing the above mentioned positions.
