The Vietnam War Veteran Association on November 23 announced that its 4th national congress, entitled “Upholding the traditional essence of Uncle Ho’s soldiers”, will take place in Hanoi from December 12-14.
As many as 500 delegates from 64 provinces and cities will participate in the event.
According to the announcement, the congress will review the resolution of the 3rd congress, amend the statute of the organisation and elect a new Executive Committee.
The opening ceremony is expected to be broadcast live by Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and Vietnam Television (VTV).
