Voters place confidence in outcomes of last NA session
VOV.VN - Many voters have expressed their interest in the outcomes of the last session of the 13th National Assembly (NA) which concluded on April 12 in Hanoi.
To Dung of Ho Chi Minh city said, “I believe in the election of the high-ranking personnel for the Party, state, and National Assembly. I’m glad that they are young and enthusiastic and are suitable for Vietnam’s accelerating international integration.”
“The NA did good personnel work. Opinions on the performance of the President, the National Assembly chairperson, and the Prime Minister were frank, consolidating trust in the people,” said, Pham Van Tu of Hanoi.
At a press briefing following the last session of the 13th NA on the same day, Secretary General of the National Assembly Nguyen Hanh Phuc said deputies had spent a large amount of time on personnel work.
“Thorough personnel preparations had been made so no contingencies occurred during the session. The relieving from duty and election of high-ranking officials were in line with Party, state, and NA regulations.”
Deputy Secretary General of the National Assembly Le Minh Thong said the 13th legislature's election of senior officials was in line with the law. The National Assembly elected 27 senior officials, including three new PMs, the Chairperson of the National Assembly, the President, and the Prime Minister.
