Nam eliminated from F4 Men’s Futures

Ly Hoang Nam could not surprise No 6 seed Takahashi Yusuke of Japan at the Vietnam Men’s Futures F4 tennis tournament in Binh Duong Province.

The Vietnamese player was defeated 6-2, 6-1 on September 14 in the second round match.


He was the final Vietnamese player in the singles event.

Nam will continue playing on September 15 in the doubles class. He has been paired with Chinese Bowen Ouyang as No 3 seed and will meet Joel Cannel and Vikram Hundal, a mixed pair from England and the US, in the quarter-finals.

His teammates, Nguyen Van Phuong and Trinh Linh Giang, will face Imai Shintaro and Ito Yuichi of Japan.
