RoK expands search for 6 missing Vietnamese fishermen

VOV.VN - Korean Republic authorities have continued to search for 6 missing Vietnamese fishermen since a fishing vessel called Dongkyeong 201 capsized on March 3.

Pohang city’s coastguards have deployed 10 boats backed by aircraft for search and rescue activities. 

The 6 Vietnamese fishermen, who went missing on February 29, were guest workers. 

The Vietnamese embassy and the management department of Vietnamese workers in the Republic of Korea have cooperated with local relevant agencies to update on search and rescue activities.

They also stand ready to provide necessary assistance for the missing fishermen and their relatives in Vietnam.
