Chinese students begin trek across Vietnam

(VOV) - More than 200 Chinese students began their journey across Vietnam as part of the 16th Vietnam-China youth exchange that kicked off on November 4 in Lang Son province, said the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

“During their six-day tour, the students will visit the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Relics Site, hold exchanges with students from the Hanoi National and FPT Universities,” said a spokesperson.

In addition, he said they would participate in a large number of art exchanges in Hanoi and Quang Ninh and take field trips to historic relic sites and museums.

The spokesperson said this year’s exchange has been timed to coincide with the November 5-6 official visit of Chinese Party General Secretary and President Xi Jinping to Vietnam.
