An additional 88 people were infected with the A/H1N1 virus on October 10, bringing the country’s total number of infections to 9,956 with 23 fatalities.
The Department of Preventive Medicine and the Environment under the Ministry of Health (MoH) said that more than 8,950 patients have been discharged from hospital.
As the epidemic broke out in 59 out of 63 provinces and cities across the country, the MoH has urged the people to protect themselves and the community by implementing preventive measures.
