The first international economic integration fair was held in northern Hai Phong port city on May 9 sponsored by the city’s young business association and Vietnam ACS Company.
The fair introduces socio-economic and cultural achievements of the country and Hai Phong in particular, especially the city’s potential and strength in the fields of real estate, marine-based economy, sea-port logistics, finance, trade, industry and tourism. It attracts nearly 130 domestic and foreign businesses displaying thousands of products.
During the fair, which runs until May 13, a wide range of activities, including trade promotion, investment attraction, and economic seminars will take place to provide opportunities for businesses to meet and seek partners.
Businesses at the fair are expected to sign contracts worth around US$100 million.
