HCM City's Fire Department using robot-operated trucks

HCM City's Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department started using 12 new fire trucks this morning, of which three are robot-operated.

These trucks were imported from France and are capable of mobile fire fighting, stamping out fires in tunnels, and dealing with smoke. The multi-functional fire engines were transferred to fire fighters and the police in District 1, 2, 4, 6, 9 and Nha Be, Binh Chanh, Tan Phu, Go Vap and Binh Tan districts.

Colonel Le Tan Buu, Director of the department, said these trucks will meet the police's demand for dealing with fires and conduct rescue work under special circumstances, such as fires in tunnels.
