Defence Minister to attend ASEAN-US defence chief meeting
VOV.VN - Minister of National Defence General Ngo Xuan Lich is scheduled to attend an informal meeting of ASEAN-US defence ministers in Hawaii from September 29- October 1 at the invitation of the US Secretary of Defense.

The visit aims to boost bilateral defence relations through talks and meetings to be held on the sidelines of the meeting, as well as backing Laos in the post of the Chair of ASEAN 2016, which coordinates the meeting.
