Construction has begun on a luxury resort in the coastal town of Cua Lo in central Nghe An province.


The 132.7 ha resort, considered a key component of the province’s socio-economic development plan till 2010, is to be funded from the provincial budget to the tune of US$95.4 million. During the first phase of construction to run from May 2007 to April 2009, an 18-hole golf course, 120 luxury villas, tennis courts and swimming pools will be built.


Construction of a five-star hotel, coastal entertainment areas and an additional 164 luxury villas will be completed by April 2010.


The resort is being built under the design and management of global leader IMG Worldwide USA.
