Vietnamese student association debuts in Thailand

VOV.VN - Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Hai Bang has praised dynamics, creativity and enthusiasm of most Vietnamese students in Thailand, considering the Vietnamese student association a useful and practical playground for nearly 700 Vietnamese students in Thailand.

In his speech at the first congress of the Association, marking its debut on December 16, Ambassador Bang described the Association as a reliable address for Vietnamese students to hold exchanges, offer mutual support and share experience in their lives and study.

He said he hopes that all association members would be able to bring into full play their strength and ability to popularize the good images of Vietnamese people in the eye of Thai and international friends as the better way to strengthen cooperation ties between the two countries as well as make greater contributions to the homeland.

The congress elected vice chairmen and the 2017-2019 executive board headed by Nguyen Dang Hoa Nghiem from Chulalongkorn University.

The newly-elected chair pledged his best efforts to join hands with other members in diverse student support activities.
