The Vietnam Software Association (VINASA) launched the Sao Khue Awards 2007 on January 30 to honour individuals and organizations who have made great contributions to Vietnam’s IT development and software industry.

This is the fourth year that the VINASA has organized the event in co-operation with the National Steering Committee for Information Technology and the Ministry of Post and Telematics.

Since its launch in 2003, many individual and organizations have received Sao Khue awards such as Professor Dang Huu, Professor Nguyen Thien Nhan, the Ministry of Finance, and many other enterprises who take the lead in applying ỊT


This year, there will be new awards for outstanding export manufacturing enterprises, and other enterprises which provide digital information and products of added software value for mobile phones and the Internet.


The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in late April to mark the fifth anniversary of VINASA.
