The Vietnamese Orphans Support Association in France on October 28 held a Vietnamese rural market in Saint Bris Le Vineux, Yonne province in the central region of France to raise funds for orphans in Vietnam.

According to the organizing board, the event drew nearly 3,000 visitors who came to see hundreds of traditional Vietnamese products such as costumes, knick-knacks and books on Vietnam and enjoy folk games and Vietnamese food.

Since 1992, the association has helped 20 children obtain tertiary education. Currently, it has three centres in Vietnam (in Vi Thanh, CanTho and Da Nang).

Annually, the association organizes many activities to raise funds for orphans in Vietnam.
