Condolences sent to Guatemala over deadly mudslide
President Truong Tan Sang extended his condolences to Guatemalan Acting President Alejandro Maldonado Aguirre on October 6 over the devastating mudslide wreaking havoc in the outskirts of Guatemala City on October 1.
The same day, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh also sent his message of condolence to Guatemalan Foreign Minister Carlos Raul Morales Moscoso over the tragedy.
As of October 5, at least 161 people had died as a result of the disaster.
