Defence Minister Senior Lieutenant General Phung Quang Thanh met with Director of the Russia Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) M.A. Dmitriev on May 28.

The Vietnamese minister welcomed the visit by the FSMTC delegation to Vietnam, hoping the visit will be successful, thus making contribution to developing relations between the two countries’ armies and peoples.

Director Dmitriev said he hopes that bilateral military and technical cooperation will further develop.

Earlier, Deputy Defence Minister Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Huy Hieu had a meeting with the Russian delegation.
