Da Nang, Quang Nam tackle severe flooding

VOV.VN - Although the rain has abated and floodwaters are slowly receding, many areas in Da Nang City and Quang Nam Province are still inundated with water on the morning of November 6.

Hoa Phong, Hoa Nhon, and Hoa Khuong communes in Hoa Vang district, and two wards of Hoa Tho Tay and Hoa Quy in Cam Le district, central Da Nang City are deep under water.

A policeman prevented motorbike drivers from entering dangerous areas.

Heavy rains submerged more than 4,000 houses and dozens of hectares of subsidiary crops and aquaculture areas in Hoa Vang district.


Forces are on duty in flooded areas, ready for search and rescue efforts.

Many people had to make alternative travel plans.
