On the occasion, many other organizations also visited to congratulate VOV for its constant efforts to fulfil its tasks of disseminating Party and state policies and culture to the people, especially those in remote and mountainous areas.

VOV has paid a lot of attention to building up its human resources and applying state-of-the-art technology as well as diversifying the ways of reporting news.

VOV is now the only media agency in Vietnam which has four forms of journalism: radio broadcasting, print media, online newspapers, and radio service with video images. Its radio programmes now cover 98.5 percent of the country. VOV5 broadcasts overseas programmes in 12 foreign languages.
