Lao Deputy Prime Minister Thongloun Sisolit  presented the order to Deputy PM Dung, who is also President of the Vietnam Section of the Vietnam-Laos Cooperation Committee.

The honour demonstrated the Lao State's recognition of Deputy PM Dung's great contributions to boosting comprehensive cooperation and special solidarity between the two parties and states.

Deputy PM Dung affirmed that the Party, Government and people of Vietnam have attached importance to increasing their special friendship with Laos, as it is their noble duty to nurture the relationship fostered by late Presidents Ho Chi Minh and Kaysone Phomvinhane and other predecessors.
