Ngoc Han serves as ambassador for World Water Day 2019

VOV.VN - Ngoc Han, Miss Vietnam 2010, has undertaken a number of roles as part of her position as ambassador for World Water Day 2019. She was recently in Hanoi where she launched Vietnam International Water Week.

Ngoc Han has taken time throughout the years to take part in various charitable activities and environmental protection campaigns. The beauty queen has been selected to serve as an ambassador for World Water Day 2019.
She typically wears an Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional long dress) to social events, with simple make-up and long black hair.
The Hanoian girl wore an Ao Dai she had made herself. The outfit draws inspiration from World Water Day 2019.
Han says she felt honoured when the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment chose her as ambassador for World Water Day 2019. Since their decision she has spent lots of time on designing a suitable Ao Dai for the event.
With the theme “Water for all - Leaving no one behind”, this year’s campaign is expected to raise awareness regarding the effective use of water resources while minimising activities that lead to water and environmental pollution.
At the launching event for Vietnam International Water Week, Ngoc Han said she expects everyone to have access to clean and safe water.
Tran Hong Ha (C), Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, was alongside Ngoc Han, Miss Vietnam 2010 and ambassador of World Water Day, during the opening ceremony for Vietnam International Water Week at a recent ceremony in Hanoi.
