More than 30 Vietnamese enterprises are attending the Mega Show – the largest Asian toy, gift and household products trade fair held in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from October 20-23.

The event has attracted nearly 4,000 enterprises with more than 5,400 pavilions from dozens of nations and territories around the world. Along with Vietnam, many enterprises from countries in SouthEast Asia are also participating in the fair including Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines and Indonesia.

Vietnamese businesses said that the event is a good opportunity for them to introduce traditional handicrafts, seek partners and boost exports, particularly when many the world’s major export markets have encountered difficulties due to the impact of the global economic downturn.

According to Kenfair - the leading Hong Kong company specializing in organising exhibitions and trade fairs there have been significant changes in the toy, gift and households markets in Asia.
