The Vietnam Fishing Association is putting together a project on how to develop globefish in a sustainable manner. Under the project, globefish could become a big-ticket export item as its by-products are used in the medical and pharmaceutical industry.

In addition, the project’s objectives are to process, export and fully tap into sources of globefish in Vietnam’s maritime territory.

Exporting globefish could increase fishermen’s incomes and help businesses boost their export trade.
