Over 300 global artists participate in AsiaLink Sketchwalk Hanoi 2019

VOV.VN - Up to 350 professional and amateur artists from 18 countries worldwide took part in an art event with the theme “AsiaLink Sketchwalk Hanoi 2019” on October 3 which showcased intriguing images of Hanoi's Old Quarter.

The event titled "AsiaLink Sketchwalk Hanoi 2019" kicked off in Hanoi on October 3 as part of a range of activities being held to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the capital’s liberation day on October 10, 1954.
Artists participating in the event are aged from six to 70 and hail from a variety of countries from across the world. The participants have sketched an array of landmarks situated in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, including Ngoc Son temple, Ba Kieu temple, the Ly Thai To statue, Dong Xuan market, and the Quan Chuong gate. The event is scheduled to last four days in total.
The paintings will be exhibited in the Vietnam National Museum of History on October 6, the Hanoi Architectural University from October 11 to October 13, and Hanoi Museum between October 14 and December 31.
