Singaporean businesses are very interested in projects to develop urban centers, build An Tay high-tech zone and an agro-forestry product processing complex in southern Binh Duong province.

The statement was made on September 17 by Mr Chong Lit Cheong, CEO of International Enterprise Singapore during his fact-finding tour of Binh Duong to learn about the province’s urban planning.

Singapore will provide training in the transfer of technology for Binh Duong, Dong Nai and HCM City to help them devise a strategic vision for urban development in the near future, said Mr Chong.

Singaporean businesses want to invest in an agricultural product processing project on a total area of 10,000 hectares in Binh Duong’s Tan Uyen district. So far, Singapore has invested in 104 projects worth US$800 million in the province, Mr Chong added.
