The first group A match between host Switzerland and the Czech Republic in the final round of the 2008 UEFA European Football Championship will take place at St. Jakob Park stadium, Basel City, at 23pm (Hanoi time) on Saturday.

The Czech team, coached by Karel Bruckner, is considered to be stronger as it has played six times in previous EURO final rounds and won the silver medal at EURO in 1996.

However, the Swiss are expected to take advantage of their home stadium with enthusiastic support from thousands of fans. They are likely to apply a 4-4-2 tactical lineup, according to experts.

Portugal will play against Turkey in the second EURO match at Stade de Geneve stadium at 1.45pm (Vietnam time) on June 8.
