Ho Chi Minh City leader receives Chinese Party official
Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan hosted a reception in the city on July 6 for head of the Publicity Department at the Communist Party of China’s Central Committee Huang Kunming.

Nhan congratulated the success of the 14th theoretical workshop between the CPV and the CPC, affirming that Vietnam always wants to boost the comprehensive development of ties with China to bring benefits to the two peoples.
Huang, for his part, said the workshop has contributed to relations between the two Parties and countries, expressing his belief that Ho Chi Minh City will further thrive in the future.
On the occasion, both sides discussed measures to step up bilateral exchange in the near future.
Earlier, the CPV and CPC held the 14th theoretical workshop on Vietnam’s renewal realities and experience and China’s open-door policy reform.
