Student's auction their drawings to raise money for needy

VOV.VN - About 20 Hanoi youth are helping to raise money for the medical needs of disadvantaged children by auctioning off their drawings today (June 17) at the Hanoi Children Palace located at 36 Ly Thai To Street.

At the annual contest sponsored by the Kim Dong Publishing House, the colourful drawings of the students themed around the concept of fairy tales will feature at a silent auction.

Proceeds from the auction will help fund medical reconstructive surgeries, said representatives of Kim Dong. This year they are hopeful of surpassing the record high US$2,600 (nearly VND60 million) they raised last year from the project.
