The Vietnamese Government and local administrations will create every favorable condition for US and Canadian enterprises to do business in the country, said Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on May 9 received representatives from three US and Canadian groups, which are visiting Vietnam to seek business opportunities.

There are keen on telecommunications, construction of bridges, roads, hotels and resorts, financial and banking services.


At the reception, PM Dung briefed them on Vietnam’s socio-economic development situation during the past 20 years of implementing the Doi Moi (Renewal) process and potential, political and social stability and abundant human resources.


Mr Dung encouraged US and Canadian groups to invest in all areas of priority in Vietnam’s plans for socio-economic development while affirming that the Vietnamese Government and local administrations will create every favorable condition for US and Canadian enterprises to do business in the country.

US and Canadian representatives expressed their delight at Vietnam’s tremendous socio-economic achievements in its renewal process and regarded Vietnam as an attractive destination for investors.


They also affirmed that they will accelerate the implementation of investment projects in Vietnam and in Hoa Lac high-tech zone as well.
