Can Tho City in the Mekong Delta recently exported 61,700 tonnes of rice to Africa, the Middle East, Europe and North America, earning an export turnover of US$52.8 million.

The latest shipments have raised the total rice volume exported by businesses from the city so far this year to 280,000 tonnes, an increase of 70 percent over the same period last year.
