The Asian Takewondo Union (ATU) has decided to choose Vietnam as the host to organise the qualifying rounds of the Takewondo Olympics 2008 in Asia.
At a ATU meeting held in Bangkok, Vietnam won 18 votes, far surpassing the two other candidates of Thailand and Quatar.
The ATU also chose China to host the Asian Takewondo Championships.
