Earlier, President Triet met with overseas Vietnamese in the country, to whom he affirmed the Party and State always care about Vietnamese communities abroad, including those in Slovakia.

The president said he was delighted to see Vietnamese nationals in Slovakia unite with each other, integrate well in the Slovak society, preserve their mother tongue, pay due attention to the Party building, and boost investments in the home country.

President Triet also met with leaders of a number of major Slovak companies operating in the fields of oil and gas, manufacturing and construction.
