Music contest for Vietnamese students in Singapore

(VOV) -Vietnamese nationals studying at Singaporean universities on January 11 competed in the final round of Music Revolution 2014 – an annual music contest for Vietnamese students in the island nation.

At the gala event, Pham Thi Thu Trang, from Amity Global Business School, successfully distinguished her musical talent and surpassed the 7 other finalists to claim first place.

Two famous Vietnamese singers including Hoang Ton and Trung Quan performed at the event as special guests.

According to the organizing board, the proceeds of the event will be presented to two boys suffering from blood cancer in the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre.

The event, organized by Vietnamese students from the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM), is one of its activities aiming to help people with disabilities in Vietnam.
