The logo selected to represent the Games, designed by Pham Tam from Ho Chi Minh City, features a lotus petal stylised into a torch.

The anthem for the Games is “Let’s Light A Torch of Peace” written by young composers Duc Tan and An Hieu, and for the mascot, the Organising Committee chose Hanoian painter Cu Hong Son’s “Ga Ho” (Cock in Ho Village, northern Bac Ninh province).

The selected pieces were winning entries in a logo, mascot and anthem-writing contest for the Asian Indoor Games launched by the Committee for Sports and Physical Training.
