A delegation of Japanese businesses, led by the Special Advisor and former executive vice president of the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO), will visit Vietnam from December 6-9 to seek investment opportunities.

Members of the delegation are mostly small and medium-sized businesses involved in manufacturing machinery and automation equipment, chemicals, and electrical and electronic appliances. Other members represent freighting companies, banks, consultancy providers, construction companies and the Tokyo TV.

The delegation is scheduled to have working sessions with the Ministry of Planning and Investment and authorities of northern border Lang Son province and central Da Nang city.

They will also visit industrial zones in the northern and central regions to inquire into performance and experiences of Japanese investors currently doing business in the country.
